Do we need Managers?

Do we need Managers? How Managers are important to a project/company?

Many people / employees join the companies with high expectations,it is observed very often that they leave their managers not the company.

The leadership Quality is one of the greatest source for  managers for employee satisfaction at work.

Managers have got such a high talent if they want they can keep the employees happy or they may create such an environment so that employee quits the organisation.

They should understand the Employee retention is more important.

So much of investment would have been done on any employee be it in form of training etc..

And if that particular employee leaves its loss on the investment and the new employee may or may not be the same skill/competency/quality/attitude.

Employee satisfaction leads to high performance, high quality and high productivity.

Employee satisfaction impacts the bottom line and it is largely determined by employee day-to-day interaction with managers.

As said earlier that "People Leave their Managers but not the Company".

Managers with the leadership skills that we have shown to be the most important will create a high level of fulfilment in their employees, retain staff and have a direct impact on the bottom line

I have a doubt why does Managers cannot leave the Company? Why not HR look from this angle also?

In many companies/organisations it is the management people who are stayed in the same company for long time but where are the technical people frequently changed their employers.

So it burn down the question "DO WE NEED MANAGERS"?

In fact to add to that..I think they are LIABILITIES TO COMPANIES INSTEAD OF ASSETS :)

PS: I am not pointing on any individual. I just got this thought and thought of sharing.
